The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a variety of resources that you might not even notice in your inventory. One of these valuable resources is the Luminous Stone found by breaking certain ore deposits. Here’s our guide on where to find and farm Luminous Stone in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to Find and Farm Luminous Stone in Tears of the Kingdom
The Luminous Stone has multiple uses in the game, some of which might not be obvious at first. You can use it to upgrade your Radiant Armor, and it also comes in handy when dealing with certain creatures that can turn them into gemstones.
You might want to seek out more Luminous Stone, and the best places to find and farm them are in various caves around Hyrule and on the sky islands.
The high eastern island in the North Necluda Sky Archipelago is the best location to find Luminous Stone. You can reach this location from Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, launching yourself into the air and then drifting east towards the main platform. During your journey, you might need to land on a smaller sky island to restore your stamina. The large main island contains various ores to mine, and there is also a treasure chest with a Sage’s Will stone inside.
When you arrive on the main island, turn the nearby wheel to face the high island in the distance. Step onto the platform and let it launch you up to collect the Luminous Stone. Remember to come back after every Blood Moon to activate Josiu Shrine on a western island, and make your future trips faster.
If you’re not up for exploring the sky islands, you can seek out numerous caves that contain Luminous Stone. As a general rule, the more dangerous the cave, the more likely you are to find that resource. Some of the best known locations are around Death Mountain, Hebra and Crenel Hills Cave near Hyrule Castle.
When you come across Luminous Stone in dark environments, it will glow a turquoise blue that will be hard to miss. Make sure you always stop and mine such rocks as you will want plenty of the Luminous Stone as you progress through the game.
