The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ingeniously reimagines the unique world of Breath of the Wild, introducing new twists on familiar characters and locales. One such much-reviled group are the Yiga Clan, whose disdain for our hero, Link remains unblemished. Here we provide a comprehensive guide to locating and infiltrating the Yiga Clan Hideout in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom – Expert Tips for Infiltrating the Yiga Clan Hideout
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Yiga Clan have become devious researchers, occupying much of the Depths. But their animosity for Link remains unwaveringly hostile, with coveted Mighty Bananas still their favorite treat. Although in the game’s early stages, you will inevitably come across their den, infiltrating it won’t prove so easy.
Your key objective is to source the Yiga Clan armor set to ensure successful infiltration of their hideout. The set comprises the Yiga Mask, Yiga Armor, and Yiga Tights and these not only boost your stealth quotient when equipped but are essential to complete this mission.
But, obtaining the various pieces of Yiga Clan armor set means traversing the entire Kingdom of Hyrule. You can collect parts from smaller bases located in a forest shack near the southern edge of the Great Plateau, the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab in the northeast, and the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch in the Aldor Foothills. Once you rescue the tailors from each base, they’ll give you the piece of the set they were producing.
Once you have collected all the set, level it up before making your way to Yiga Clan Hideout. A visit to the Great Fairy is recommended as it will help ensure that you have the most effective gear. Then, fast travel to the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower. Use Ascend skill to lift yourself through the ceiling. Ensure your Cold Resistance is high, and head straight ahead to the edge of the snow-covered ledge. A gaping hole awaits you.
Jump forward from the ledge and paraglide out and to the left, past the opening. Descend in the direction of the canyon until you reach the back hideout. You’ll encounter Mimos first, who’s been waiting in vain to gain entry. The guard refuses him access as he doesn’t have the appropriate clothing.
Before attempting entry, put on the Yiga Clan armor completely. Once done, head to the door, and the guards will permit you to enter the hideout. The Infiltrating the Yiga Clan side quest will be marked as completed.
