Hi-Fi Rush Arcade Challenge update to bring new modes to the mix

New Update to Add Two Exciting Modes to Hi-Fi Rush

Bethesda and Tango Gameworks just announced the “Arcade Challenge! Update!” for Hi-Fi Rush, set to release on July 5th. This update will introduce two electrifying new modes that fans can’t wait to test their skills in.

BPM Rush: A New Challenge with a Familiar Reference

The first new mode, BPM Rush, offers a significant challenge to players’ rhythm and reaction abilities. As players battle and progress through waves of enemies, the tempo of the game will increase. With its increasing BPM, this mode will become much faster than anything seen in the original game. Its announcement trailer even hints at the mode’s resemblance to Devil May Cry’s Turbo Mode, with its tagline, “You want a Turbo Mode?”

Power Up! Tower Up!: Another Rhythm-based Challenge

In the second new mode, Power Up! Tower Up!, players make their way through a tower filled with enemy waves, starting with a depowered Chai. However, as players clear each floor, they will get randomized upgrades that bring Chai back to fighting shape, ultimately reaching the top floor.

The update is not limited to these two new modes alone. In addition to extra costumes, the update will feature new souped-up variations of enemy types in the base game, new special attacks, and even appearances from Smidge, the tutorial bot in the original campaign.

“Gamers and fans will surely be pleased with the latest addition of new modes to the game. These modes offer a more challenging, electrifying, and fun gameplay experience to users,” one source from Tango said.
