When adventuring in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll want to make sure you’re fully equipped before heading out. That includes stocking up on arrows, as you never know when you’ll need them. In this guide, we’ll take a look at the best ways to get arrows in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Best Ways to Get Arrows
Arrow shortages in The Legend of Zelda games are nothing new. However, Tears of the Kingdom takes it to the next level. Fear not, however, as there are a few tried and true methods for keeping your quiver full.
Buy Arrows From Vendors
This one is pretty straightforward. In most villages and towns, you’ll find merchants selling arrows. They can be a bit pricey, but it’s worth it to avoid running out in the middle of a battle. Mubs at Lookout Landing is a great vendor to check out, as her prices are reasonable and she stocks five bundles of arrows at once. Other locations to check out include Kakariko Village, Hateno Village, Goron City, and Rito Village.
Trick Enemies into Wasting Their Arrows
Another way to get arrows is to trick enemies into using up their supply. This is a bit riskier, but it can be rewarding if you pull it off. Try to get the attention of an enemy that uses arrows (such as a Yiga Clan archer), and then dodge their attacks. If you’re lucky, they’ll waste all of their arrows and you can collect them from the ground.
Scavenge From Weaker Enemies
If you don’t want to risk facing off against stronger enemies, you can always scavenge arrows from weaker ones. Find an enemy encampment with archers and take out the ground guards first. Then, dodge the arrows from the lookout archer and collect them as they fall to the ground. You can usually collect up to five arrows this way before the game stops letting you pick them up.
Collect Your Own Arrows
When facing off against stronger enemies, it’s easy to miss a shot or two. Don’t forget to collect these arrows after the battle, as they can be used again later on. Make sure to check around the arena or cave for any missed arrows before moving on to the next challenge.
By following these tips, you should be able to keep your arrows stocked and ready for battle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
