How to Stealth Your Entire Party in Baldur’s Gate 3
Baldur’s Gate 3 can be a complex and challenging game when it comes to managing your party. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to make your life easier and prevent unnecessary deaths. One useful command that provides advantages during battle is the ability to stealth your entire party.

To stealth your entire party, simply press Shift+C. If you’re playing with a controller or using the Steam Deck, you can achieve the same result by pressing Down on the D-Pad. Alternatively, you can find a button labeled “Toggle Hide” below the characters panels on the left side of the UI. However, note that this command won’t make a summoned familiar go into stealth, so you’ll need to manually stealth them by selecting their portrait and pressing the C key.
If you find the Shift+C command inconvenient, you have the option to bind the button combination to something more preferable. As someone who plays Baldur’s Gate 3 on the Steam Deck, I found binding the button combination to one of the paddles to be much easier than using the D-Pad for selecting the stealth option.
To further enhance your party’s survival, it’s crucial to understand and utilize other commands. For example, you can use the G key, which activates the “Toggle Group Mode” command. This allows you to combine and divide your party as needed. Additionally, you can switch between controllable party members using the F1 and F4 keys. Mastering these basic commands will give you a significant advantage in combat, enabling you to gain better positioning or execute strategies to eliminate formidable enemies before they overpower you.
