Final Fantasy XVI Coming to PC, Confirms Game Director Naoki Yoshida
In a recent video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Naoki Yoshida, the game director of Final Fantasy XVI, made an exciting announcement. He confirmed that Final Fantasy XVI, the highly acclaimed PlayStation exclusive RPG, will be coming to PC. Yoshida stated:
“While Final Fantasy 16 launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, we are aware that many of you have been asking for a PC version. So, allow me to take this opportunity to officially announce that development on a PC version is currently underway. I hope to be able to give you more information on both the upcoming DLCC and the PC version before the end of the year, so please stay tuned.”
According to Yoshida’s statement, it is clear that the PC port of FFXVI is expected to be released after 2023.
In addition to the PC announcement, Yoshi-P also shared further updates regarding Final Fantasy XVI. He announced a free update for the game, which includes alternate costumes, a new weapon, and the ability to change the appearance of the main characters’ weapons. Furthermore, two DLCs were announced for the game.
