Sony Interactive Entertainment and NCSOFT Announce Global Partnership
Sony Interactive Entertainment and NCSOFT have revealed a new global business partnership that will see the two companies collaborating in various ways.
Jim Ryan, the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, who is set to retire next year, and NCSOFT CEO Taekjin Kim, released a joint statement, emphasizing that the partnership marks the beginning of NCSOFT’s efforts to establish synergies with SIE.
Taekjin Kim, President and CEO at NCSOFT, stated, “This partnership with SIE is the beginning of our efforts to build various synergies together, utilizing both companies’ core competencies, technological capabilities, and expertise. We will deliver a new and enjoyable experience to our audience across and beyond genres and regions.”
Expanding Audience Reach

NCSOFT is recognized for its MMORPG games like Lineage and Guild Wars, as well as for developing mobile games, including titles like Blade & Soul and Lineage W. The company’s upcoming release, Project G, is a real-time strategy game set to launch on both PC and mobile devices.
