Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to Crush Drayton’s Elite Trial in The Indigo Disk
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk, Drayton’s Elite Trial is one of the biggest challenges you’ll face. The unique twist is that you can only use Pokémon you’ve caught in the Blueberry Academy Terrarium, making some previously caught Pokémon useless.
If you want to build a team to defeat Drayton’s assistants, here’s a look at the Pokémon you’ll face and their weaknesses:
Ray the Student’s Pokémon
Pokémon | Type | Weakness |
---|---|---|
Magnezone | Electric/Steel | 4x Ground 2x Fire 2x Fighting |
Zebstrika | Electric | 2x Ground |
With both Pokémon being weak to Ground types, make sure to target Magnezone first due to its 4x weakness. Then focus on Zebstrika and avoid bringing in Pokémon weak to Electric or Steel types.
Winter the Student’s Pokémon
Pokémon | Type | Weakness |
---|---|---|
Alolan Sandslash | Ice/Steel | 4x Fire 2x Fighting 2x Ground |
Dewgong | Water/Ice | 2x Grass 2x Electric 2x Fighting 2x Rock |
Fighting Pokémon like Blaziken who also have Fire typing will be extremely useful due to Alolan Sandslash’s 4x Fire weakness and 2x Fighting weakness.
Craig the Student’s Pokémon
Pokémon | Type | Weakness |
---|---|---|
Bastiodon | Rock/Steel | 4x Fighting 4x Ground 2x Water |
Rampardos | Rock | 2x Water 2x Grass 2x Fighting 2x Ground 2x Steel |
Both of Craig’s Pokémon share a Fighting and Ground weakness. Consider using Virizion or Cobalion as viable options.
