Fire in the Hole in Geometry Dash: A Challenging Section
The Tower in Geometry Dash features a unique way to play the game, but it also presents a challenge with the “Fire in the Hole!” section in The Sewers level. Let’s take a look at this section and how to conquer it.
How Fire in the Hole works in Geometry Dash
Fire in the Hole is an unofficially named section in Stage Two of The Tower, known for the phrase “Fire in the Hole!” that is shouted when it begins. Players may be all too familiar with this phrase.
This section involves navigating an elevator from hell, dodging spikes that jut up from the floor, and attempting to collect all the coins – a particularly challenging task, especially for those aiming to find the Secret Star.
As the section progresses, the intensity of the spikes increases, making it even more difficult. However, this part is short, and the ride will come to an end for those who survive.

Geometry Dash Fire in the Hole walkthrough
Follow this walkthrough to conquer the Fire in the Hole section of The Sewers in Geometry Dash and collect all the coins, avoiding the need to continuously replay it. For those looking to avoid spoilers regarding the location of the secret moon, that information will be provided separately below.
The difficulty of this section lies in the need to keep track of moving spikes while navigating sinking platforms and hazards simultaneously. Use this guide to anticipate where the spikes will emerge in order to succeed.
The first part
Upon entering the first door in Stage 2 of The Tower, activate the elevator by jumping on the red button at the end of the platform.
Immediately, three platforms will appear at different heights. Without delay, leap over to the first platform on the left to collect the coins, then travel under the middle platform to the right side to collect more coins.
As the spikes move from left to right, jump over them to reach the middle platform and grab the coins. Quickly collect the coin next to the fire hazard before it erupts again. Then, jump to grab the coin by the other fire hazard on the opposite side.
As the spikes launch in quarters, wait for the spikes under your cube to light up, then jump to safety. Next, leap to the small platform jutting out of the left wall to avoid the next wave of spikes. Finally, jump to the middle of the stage, collect the coin on the right side, and jump onto the small platform on the right wall to avoid the upcoming spikes.
Collect the two coins on the platform and the one next to the fire hazard before the spike wave returns. Then, move to the right, jump to grab the final coin, and leap over the spike wave. As the second phase begins, be prepared to quickly jump from the right half to the left half as the floor launches in spikes.
The second part
This section presents a formidable challenge, similar to an environmental boss fight, without any coins to collect. The primary focus is on avoiding the rapidly moving and irregularly patterned spikes.
The spike attacks consist of multiple waves, requiring constant movement and precise timing to avoid them.
After surviving the spike onslaught, an opening will appear in the right wall, leading to the end of the level.
Finding the Moon in Fire in the Hole
This section contains information on finding the moon in Fire in the Hole for players who wish to discover it on their own.
The moon in Fire in the Hole can be found at the very end. Once the elevator stops, hug the left wall and jump to access a secret room where the moon will be floating above. Jump to collect it.
