The release date of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is quickly approaching, set to launch on February 14th, 2024. Fans are eagerly anticipating more information about the upcoming collection before it hits the shelves.
As reported by Push Square, the official Tomb Raider X account has responded to a fan request for more images and gameplay videos by stating “We’ll have plenty more to share soon.” Despite the game being announced relatively recently, in September, there hasn’t been much revealed since then.
Concerns Over Developer’s Reputation
It’s no secret that confidence in developer Aspyr has suffered over the past year. The company faced backlash after porting Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords to the Switch but ultimately canceling the highly anticipated Restored Content DLC. This decision led to refund requests and even legal action.
Moreover, Aspyr was initially slated to create a remake of the first Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, but Embracer subsequently announced that development had transitioned to another studio.
Looking Ahead
In the weeks to come, we eagerly await more details about the upcoming Tomb Raider Trilogy. Despite the reservations stemming from recent developments, we remain optimistic and excited to see what the future holds for this collection.
