Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Upon completing the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players have access to an exciting epilogue if they meet certain requirements. The epilogue brings together all the companions – Nemona, Arven, Penny, and Kieran – for a meet-up in Kitakami. The epilogue also provides the only opportunity to obtain the Mythical Pokémon, Pecharunt.
How to start the epilogue in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The epilogue in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet serves as a conclusion to the storylines in the game, including those in Paldea, the Ogrepon section in Kitakami, and the segment at the Blueberry Academy. Players must accomplish the following tasks to unlock the epilogue:
- The completion of “The Teal Mask” story
- The completion of “The Indigo Disk” story
- Participate in the Academy Ace Tournament at least once
- Claim the Mythical Pecha Berry item via Mystery Gift
Obtaining the Mythical Pecha Berry is achieved by accessing the Poké Portal in the game’s menu, choosing the Mystery Gift option, and then selecting the “get via internet” choice. Once accessed, players can select the Mythical Pecha Berry from the available list.
Once all the required tasks are completed, players can head to the shop in Kitakami’s Mossui Town and interact with the pink object on the cushion to initiate the story.
How to catch Pecharunt in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
In order to capture Pecharunt, players need to play through the DLC epilogue story, “Mochi Mayhem.” Throughout the journey, players will encounter multiple trainers with Pokémon in the level 80 range, so adequate preparation is advised. Once the DLC has been completed, players will engage in a boss fight to capture the Legendary Pokémon. After defeating it, players are given the opportunity to use a Poké Ball to catch it, as it is a guaranteed capture.
It is important for players to obtain the Mythical Pecha Berry item promptly, as once it becomes unavailable, there may not be another chance to obtain Pecharunt until a future distribution event takes place.
