Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Return to Grace Video Contest accepting submissions
Bandai Namco is providing fans of Elden Ring with the chance to win a life-sized statue of Messmer the Impaler and other exciting prizes. The highlight of the competition is a ten-foot sculpture, which serves as the grand prize for participants in the Shadow of the Erdtree Return to Grace Video Contest.
As the release of Shadow of the Erdtree draws near, the publisher is calling on players to submit fan-made trailers showcasing their admiration for the dark fantasy action RPG.
According to a statement on Bandai Namco’s website, “Join us and upload your video celebrating Elden Ring, and in return, we will honor the top entries with a small gesture of our gratitude.” The page continues, “Show us your deep understanding of the world of Elden Ring and your ability to capture its story.”
Despite being labeled as “small,” the grand prize for Best Trailer is a life-sized statue of boss Messmer the Impaler. Additionally, winners in categories such as Best Narrative, Best Action, and Best Direction will receive a life-sized replica of Malenia’s mechanical arm. Those who excel in categories like Best Comedy, Best Use of Sound, Best Armor Design, and Most Original Use of Elden Ring will be rewarded with the Helmet of Messmer the Impaler.
Submissions for the contest opened on May 6 and will close on the night of June 2. To be eligible, trailers must be under 5 minutes in length and include “Elden Ring” in the title. Participants are allowed to use their own gameplay footage and official assets but must avoid any infringement on third-party copyrights. Once the video is uploaded publicly on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, or Twitter/X, contestants can complete the sign-up form on the official contest website.
