Exciting New PvE Mode Coming to MultiVersus

When MultiVersus makes its return later this month following a long break, players can look forward to a brand new PvE mode called Rifts. This mode will offer tutorials, challenges, and story-based missions, providing a fresh gameplay experience for fans.

What to Expect From Rifts

Rifts, as explained by Scooby-Doo’s Velma, are made up of chapters that are further divided into nodes, each offering unique battles and challenges. These nodes come with their own mutators to keep things interesting, sometimes leading to very peculiar situations based on the recent footage shared.

Benefit of Rifts

Warner Bros. and developer Player First Games have positioned Rifts as a safe environment for players to “learn mechanics, test characters, and sharpen skills” without the pressure of diving into competitive online play in MultiVersus. This mode is likely to expand and receive updates over time, providing a dynamic and evolving gameplay experience.

Game Relaunch Details

MultiVersus is set to relaunch on May 28 across various platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up to offer improved netcode and visuals. Along with the already announced Joker, players can expect to see two additional characters teased in the game’s latest video, with speculation pointing to the possible inclusion of The Powerpuff Girls trio.
