How to unlock and use Artifact of Delusion in Risk of Rain 2

Unlocking the Artifact of Delusion in Risk of Rain 2

If memory games aren’t your forte, then the Artifact of Delusion in Risk of Rain 2 may pose a challenge. This particular artifact is a bit trickier to unlock compared to others, as the code is not found within the game itself. In fact, the code is hidden in one of the cards featured in the Devotion Update trailer, making it a pixelated mystery for players to solve.

  • Circle, Circle, Circle
  • Square, Triangle, Square

After some intense theory-crafting and collaboration, the community managed to crack the code and unlock the Artifact of Delusion. To do so, head to the Shadow Meadows – the fifth stage in a normal run of Risk of Rain 2 – and locate the Compound Generator at the bottom of the map. Input the code provided above to open a portal to Bulwark’s Ambry. Defeat the Artifact Reliquary and, upon returning to the first stage, you will successfully unlock the Artifact of Delusion.

Utilizing the Artifact of Delusion in Risk of Rain 2

The Artifact of Delusion introduces an engaging memory game mechanic to every stage you play. Following the completion of the Teleport event, each chest you open will reset, allowing you to open them again and collect more items. However, to benefit from this feature, you must accurately recall which item dropped from each chest. You will be presented with three options – the original item dropped and two from your inventory. Selecting the correct item will reward you with it, while choosing incorrectly will result in the loss of the item you picked.
