Starting the Side Quests in Wuthering Waves
The De-Hoochief, A Quest of Wits, and Messenger side quests are waiting for you in the Wuthering Waves map. You can find them near the Huanglong-Dim Forest-Wenye Beach Resonance Beacon, south of Jinzhou city. Remember, these quests become available after completing the Ominous Star main quest.
When you reach the designated zone, you won’t see any NPCs above ground. That’s because all three quest starters are underground. Look for an opening that you can drop into, where you’ll find scientists conducting research in the cave.
Interact with each marker’s NPC to kick off the side quests. These quests are relatively short and easy, with no major boss battles to worry about.
De-Hoochief Quest
Meet the Anxious Researcher overlooking the cliff to begin the De-Hoochief quest. Your task is to deal with the Hoochiefs in the cave and study them.
Volunteer to take care of the Hoochiefs by gliding to the other side of the chasm and defeating them. Return to the Anxious Researcher to complete the quest.
A Quest of Wits
Interact with NPC Quwen to start the A Quest of Wits. Prepare for a quiz with three questions, each requiring a daily answer. The answers can be provided at the Wuthering Waves daily reset time.

Messenger
The Messenger quest can be initiated by interacting with NPC Chuyi. You’ll be tasked with delivering a data chip to a researcher at the top of the cave.
Find the Lazing Around Researcher outside the cave and hand over the data chip to complete the quest.
While these quests may not offer the same level of excitement as other adventures in Wuthering Waves, they do provide valuable Union Level XP. Make sure to tackle them all for a well-rounded gaming experience!
