Bandai Namco’s Gundam Breaker 4 Open Network Test
Bandai Namco’s highly anticipated game, Gundam Breaker 4, is set to kick off its open network test starting today for players eager to experience the game on both PS5 and PS4. The test build is now available for download in preparation for the test sessions, providing a glimpse into the hack-and-slash looter before its official release on August 29.
When is the Gundam Breaker 4 Open Network Test?
Starting today, on July 18, three test sessions will be conducted, running until July 20. Here are the scheduled session times for the latest installment of the Gundam Breaker series:
- July 18 from 5:00 PM PT to 10:00 PM PT
- July 19 from 2:00 AM PT to 8:00 PM PT
- July 19 from 7:00 PM PT to July 20 11:00 PM PT
Players can already access the test build from the PlayStation Store for both PS5 and PS4. In the open network test, players will have the opportunity to construct their own Gunpla using over 250 base kits and parts salvaged from defeated foes. They can customize their creations with unique paint, weathering effects, and decals before showcasing them in diorama mode, complete with various backgrounds and special effects. Additionally, the open network test will feature a range of combat missions that can be tackled with up to two friends in online multiplayer or solo play.
Upon its release on August 29, Gundam Breaker 4 will also introduce a free Pac-Man collaboration. This collaboration will include a level inspired by the iconic Pac-Man mazes, culminating in a boss battle against a massive Pac-Man-themed Gundam RX-78-2. Players who successfully complete this mission will receive a Pac-Man-themed emblem reward, which can be used to personalize their Gunpla.
For eager fans, preorders for Gundam Breaker 4 are now open. Players who preorder the launch edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or Digital Ultimate Edition will receive the Recirculation Color for the RX-78 Gundam, along with six exclusive Builder’s Parts.
