In Date Everything: A Whimsical Take on Romance
In Date Everything, players are introduced to a unique world where romance is not limited to traditional partners. Developed by Sassy Chap, this eccentric sandbox dating sim invites players to form relationships with household objects that, surprisingly, exude charm and allure.
The game equips players with special “Dateviator” glasses, allowing them to communicate with objects and view them in their captivating, attractive forms. From your refrigerator to your smoke alarm, a variety of objects are ready to capture your heart. Even everyday elements like air and water can be courted, with branching dialogues offering three possible relationship outcomes for each character: Love, Friend, or Hate. The decisions you make will shape the dynamic, ever-changing 3D overworld that represents your home.
Date Everything features an astounding cast of over 100 voiced characters, portrayed by talented performers such as Felicia Day (Critical Role, Supernatural), Johnny Yong Bosch (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Bleach), and Grey DeLisle (Scooby-Doo, Avatar: The Last Airbender). With a staggering 1.2 million words and 70,000 voiced lines, the game promises a deep and engaging narrative experience.
Although Date Everything’s premise may seem whimsical and lighthearted, the game does not currently have a confirmed release date. However, it is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms, offering players a chance to explore the unconventional world of romance with inanimate objects.
