Dead by Daylight’s Castlevania collaboration adds Dracula and Trevor Belmont later this month

Castlevania Joins Dead by Daylight

Between its animated adaptations and video game collaborations, Konami’s legendary Castlevania series remains strong and continues to expand. The latest addition to this trend is the Castlevania chapter in Dead by Daylight, set to launch on 27th August with a public test build available today.

Dracula Enters the Fray

In this collaboration, Dracula joins Dead by Daylight as a new Killer, bringing his power-granting castle along with him. According to Developer Behaviour Interactive, Dracula and his castle are “inextricably linked”, manifesting in the game with his looming castle forming the backdrop for certain trials.

Shape-Shifting Abilities

Dracula is the first shape-shifting Killer in Dead by Daylight, able to transform into a bat and wolf in addition to his vampire form. His bat form allows for quick and silent movement with special abilities like the Undetectable status effect and teleportation. Meanwhile, his wolf form enhances movement speed and tracking abilities. In his vampire form, Dracula can unleash the powerful Hellfire spell.
