Many were thrilled by the news of Pauline joining the Super Mario Party Jamboree, but a closer look at the new website reveals that some classic minigames are making a return.

The website showcases over 110 minigames to expect in Jamboree, with most being new additions. However, upon inspection, a few familiar ones caught our eye. ‘Platform Peril’ from Mario Party 1, ‘Granite Getaway’ and ‘Snow Brawl’ from Mario Party 6, and even ‘Three Throw’ from Mario Party 4 are making a comeback. The screenshots below are all from the updated website, hinting at the return of these classic favorites.

Furthermore, a Twitter user shared a thread of 11 returning minigames, including ‘Leaf Leap’ and ‘Defuse or Lose’ from Mario Party 5, ‘Domination’ and ‘Stamp Out’ from Mario Party 4, and ‘Deep Sea Salvage’ from Mario Party 2. The full thread can be found below.

Super Mario Party Jamboree will feature these 110+ minigames across five new boards, along with two returning boards from the original Mario Party games. Additionally, there will be a 20-player online mode called ‘Koopathlon,’ where players can compete to be the last one standing.

The game is set to release on the Switch on the 17th of October.
