Call of Duty Season 1 Update
Season 1 is coming to Call of Duty on November 14, bringing with it a major update that will merge Black Ops 6 with Warzone. A new trailer for Warzone has been released to give players a glimpse of what to expect in Season 1, including intense vehicular combat on the new Area 99 Resurgence map.
Set in the ’90s era of Black Ops 6, the Season 1 trailer kicks off with The Offspring’s iconic track “Come Out and Play.” The trailer showcases gameplay on the upcoming Area 99 Resurgence map, described by Treyarch as the birthplace of Nuketown. Players can expect to see helicopters, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers in action on this map.
Season 1 will bring a host of new content, including operator skins and weapon blueprints. Sevati Dumas sports a fresh operator skin, adding an edgy flair with pink hair, chains, and tattoos. Maya from Zombies also receives a new skin, along with various masked operator skins, such as a soldier donning studded leather biker gear.
A preview of the C9 submachine blueprint showcases an angry fox illustration. Additionally, the trailer hints at a sniper rifle reminiscent of the iconic Barrett .50 Cal from Modern Warfare 2. It remains unclear if this rifle will be a new DLC weapon in Season 1 or merely a weapon blueprint for customization.
Season 1 will fully integrate all content from Black Ops 6 into Warzone, including weapons, operators, and Treyarch’s innovative omnimovement mechanics.
