Dragon Age: The Veilguard — How to Get Mass Effect’s N7 Day Armor

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Celebrates N7 Day with New Armor Cosmetic

Dragon Age: The Veilguard has unveiled a new armor cosmetic in honor of Mass Effect’s N7 Day, a pseudo holiday celebrated annually on November 7 by BioWare. The N7 Day celebration pays tribute to the special forces rank held by the protagonists of the Mass Effect series.

How to Obtain the N7 Armor

For players looking to acquire the N7 Armor, here is a simple guide:

  • Ensure that you have updated your game to the latest patch to access the N7 Armor.
  • Following the update, locate a chest located next to the Caretaker in Lighthouse.
  • This chest will become visible after completing Lace Harding’s quest titled “The Singing Blade”.
  • If you have already finished the quest, the chest will be awaiting your next visit to the Lighthouse.

Upon opening the chest, you will find a note from Harding along with the following items:

  • Commander Helmet
  • Specter of Battles Past
  • Paragon of Leadership

While these items resemble armor, they do not provide any statistical benefits. To equip them, visit Rook’s room and utilize the transmog function. This allows you to showcase your Mass Effect fandom while retaining the stats from your most powerful armor.

The names of the items pay homage to Mass Effect lore. The Commander Helmet references Commander Shepard, the protagonist of Mass Effect. Specter of Battles Past alludes to Shepard’s role as a Spectre agent in the first Mass Effect game. Lastly, Paragon of Leadership nods to the Paragon points earned for performing positive actions in Mass Effect.

The N7 Armor is exclusively available on November 7, with no information on its future availability. Fans of Mass Effect are encouraged to obtain it before it disappears!
