How to Play PoE 2 Early Access

How to Gain Access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access

With the early access for Path of Exile 2 just around the corner, many players are eager to join in as soon as possible. Unlike the Beta Test, players will not need to be selected to receive invite codes. So, what steps should players take to secure early access?

1. Purchase a Supporter Pack

Players have two options to gain access to Early Access. They can either purchase a PoE 2 Supporter Pack or meet the lifetime support threshold. Most players will need to buy one of the Supporter Packs to receive a code for Early Access. The specific details and pricing for these packs will be revealed during the GGG Livestream on November 21st. It is yet to be determined whether these packs need to be purchased in the PoE in-game store or if PoE 2 will have its own store.

While Early Access requires payment, Path of Exile 2 will be free to play upon its full release. Additionally, Microtransaction (MTX) items purchased in the original Path of Exile game can also be used in the sequel, and vice versa. However, some stash items may be inaccessible depending on their relevance to PoE 2.

2. Meet the Lifetime Support Threshold

Players who have previously bought a premier supporter pack or spent a minimum of $500 in MTX can also receive access codes to the Early Access. Those who have purchased any of the highest-tier supporter packs (priced around $400) are eligible for a code. Alternatively, the $500 threshold can be reached through cumulative purchases of stashes, cosmetics, and effects.
