Bandai Namco Confirms Arrival of ‘Future Saga Chapter 2’ DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Update []: Bandai Namco has now confirmed the ‘Future Saga Chapter 2‘ DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be arriving this week on 21st November 2024.

Players can expect to access God of Destruction Belmod, Jiren (Full Power, Ultra Supervillain), and Goku (Mini). Additionally, new content includes a new extra mission, four new parallel quests, seven new skills, new costumes and accessories, more Super Souls, and more loading screen illustrations (via Gematsu).

Season seven of Dragon Ball: The Breakers has officially launched for Switch and other platforms, coinciding with the game’s second anniversary. This update brings in the new raider Gamma 1 & Gamma 2. More updates are expected, such as the addition of the new skill “now it’s my turn!” for “Gohan (Adult) (Beast)” and “Shenron’s Gift,” which will be added to “Piccolo (Orange). Players can also acquire a jacket and some stamps.

Original Story: The new Dragon Ball Daima anime series debuted last week, bringing new themed content to various Bandai Namco games.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to receive new DLC, officially named ‘Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm‘ with part one scheduled for release soon.

Goku’s (Mini) version from the Dragon Ball Daima universe will join the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 ‘Future Saga Chapter 2‘ DLC. There will also be a free trial period available for a limited time:

“Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball DAIMA will be joining the fight in the #DBXV2 FUTURE SAGA Chapter 2 DLC! A free trial campaign for Goku (Mini) will be held for a limited period. Grab the Power Pole and go on a rampage!”

Bandai Namco is also integrating Dragon Ball Daima content (and eventually additional DLC fighters) into its new game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero (recently released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC).

Here is a summary of the new anime series Daima (via Crunchyroll) featuring original work, story, and character designs from Akira Toriyama:

“Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy! When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the “Demon Realm,” a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.”

Episode one of Dragon Ball Daima is now available on streaming services like Crunchyroll with subtitles. Last month, Bandai Namco also introduced a balance patch for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
