However, tragedy struck when the diabolical pirate Mad Molak attacked her father’s ship Nightsdream, leaving few survivors in his wake.
As a captive, Portia was consumed by darkness, enticed by the call for vengeance. It was in those moments of despair that she redirected her fate, steering the ship towards the ominous Dragon’s Tooth and condemning her assailants to their demise. Miraculously, she emerged as the sole survivor, accompanied only by her faithful puppy Snug.
It’s intriguing to note that Portia, once seen as the epitome of a survivor, turned into a vengeful force over time. While she endured the horrors of the Nightsdream massacre and the desolation of the Dragon’s Tooth, her mind fixated on retribution, stoking the flames of her bloodlust.

Coming from the Black Talon organization, a faction within the nefarious Black Vale, Taurie Cain dedicated her life to unraveling The Entity’s enigmas. Following a tragic series of events involving a Bleed expedition by her parents, Taurie ventured into the realm herself.
Driven by her belief in the Entity’s power to transcend mortal boundaries, Taurie ascended through the ranks of the Black Talon. While encountering survivors like Haddie Kaur and Elodie Rakoto, Taurie’s journey gravitated towards darkness, convinced that her destiny was intertwined with The Entity’s plan.
However, a critical juncture emerged in Taurie’s path when faced with the task of slaying Jordan Rois, a pivotal step in her ascent within the organization. Yet, her hesitation marked a turning point, leading her towards a realization of suffering perpetuated by her unwavering devotion.
