Fortnite Remix Finale event smashes 14m all-time player record

Record-Breaking Event in Fortnite

Fortnite has reached a new milestone with tonight’s Remix Finale event, surpassing its previous record for concurrent players. Back in 2020, the game saw 12.3 million players tuning in for the lockdown-era Travis Scott concert. However, tonight’s event has drawn in an impressive 14.3 million players, as reported by the game’s public player stats. Additionally, millions more joined the action online through platforms like Twitch and YouTube.

This new record beats out the numbers from earlier this month when 9.8 million players participated in the Fortnite Remix mini-season kickoff event, which featured a live concert in Time Square with Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice. It’s also more than double the player count from October’s hour-long Doctor Doom battle. Surpassing the attendance of last December’s The Big Bang event, which saw 10 million players at the end of the game’s OG season, adds to the impressive feat achieved during tonight’s Remix Finale event.

Stay tuned for more updates on this record-breaking Fortnite event.
