Path of Exile 2 Early Access: How Long to Beat and Full Quest List

Despite being in early access, Path of Exile 2 offers a rich and extensive gaming experience. From the main story campaign to challenging side bosses and a robust endgame, players will find themselves immersed in gameplay for hours on end. The initial content alone can provide hundreds of hours of entertainment for avid gamers.

How Long Does it Take to Beat Path of Exile 2?

Path of Exile 2 falls into the category of action role-playing games (ARPG) where the concept of “beating” the game is not easily defined. Most ARPGs involve progressing through a main campaign followed by engaging in endgame activities. The endgame content is open-ended, allowing players to invest as much time as they desire with a particular character.

For the early access version of Path of Exile 2, players need to complete three acts to reach the endgame. It is important to note that the full release will include double the number of acts for an even more expansive gaming experience.

Act 2 features a completely new zone and quests.

However, simply completing the three acts does not immediately lead to the endgame. Players must first finish Acts 1-3 on standard difficulty, reaching approximately level 45. Subsequently, they must replay Acts 1-3 on Cruel difficulty to finally access the endgame, with characters expected to be around level 65.

The initial playthrough of the three acts generally takes around 25 hours in Path of Exile 2, with an additional 15-20 hours needed for the Cruel difficulty run. This brings the total time to reach the endgame to approximately 40-50 hours per character. If players decide to try out a different character class, they will need to invest the same amount of time for each character.

Upon reaching the endgame stage in Path of Exile 2, players have the freedom to explore a wide array of endgame content with any character. The level cap for the early access version is set at level 100, suggesting that surpassing this threshold may not be a priority at this stage.
