Update on Support Virtual Agent Rollout

Update 12/13: Following a successful testing phase with our Insiders, we are excited to announce the official rollout of the Support Virtual Agent to all players in the US. We extend our gratitude to our Insiders for their valuable feedback during the testing phase of this new feature.

The Support Virtual Agent, powered by AI, has been designed to assist Xbox players in effectively resolving support-related gaming issues. This feature is now being rolled out to selected Xbox Insiders on support.xbox.com. The Support Virtual Agent has the capability to access information from support.xbox.com to address queries related to Xbox console and game support. Xbox Insiders based in the United States, with English set as their preferred language, can now begin previewing the Support Virtual Agent on support.xbox.com when logged into an account registered with the Xbox Insider Program.

We value the feedback from Xbox Insiders on their preview experience, and all feedback received will be utilized to enhance the Support Virtual Agent. As you engage with the Support Virtual Agent, you can provide feedback by using the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” buttons on each response or directly via the “Give feedback” button at the bottom of the page.

Utilizing the Support Virtual Agent

Starting today, Xbox Insiders will find the Support Virtual Agent on the “Contact us” page on support.xbox.com. Log in using the same account you used to register for the Xbox Insider Program, and you will see a new option to ask a question to our Support Virtual Agent.

Upon clicking “Ask a question,” the Support Virtual Agent will launch in a new browser window. You can interact with the agent using text or voice, and it will provide relevant information from support.xbox.com. In case the Support Virtual Agent is unable to resolve the issue, you have the option to request assistance from a live support agent during Xbox Support’s regular operating hours.

During the preview period, you can also personalize your support experience by selecting between two different Support Virtual Agents from the ellipsis menu icon.
