NextHandheld shared photos of a potential Switch 2 dock and controller rail with The Verge. The images reveal a metal U-shaped kickstand and certification logos on the controller rail, suggesting magnetic Joy-Con controllers that attach to the console. The dock also features the Nintendo Switch logo with a “2” included, indicating the official name of the new console.

According to NextHandheld, the Joy-Con controllers will have magnetic Hall effect joysticks, eliminating Joy-Con drift issues. They also claim that the Switch 2 will launch in dark grey initially, with a white version and themed models to follow.

While details about the console’s backward compatibility remain unclear, accessories for the Switch 2 have already surfaced on the market. Satisfye, an accessories manufacturer, hinted at the console’s design in a trailer before removing it.

As the rumored announcement date approaches, fans eagerly await more information about Nintendo’s upcoming console.
