How to Get the Summit Rod in Fisch (Location)

Finding the Fisch Summit Rod in Northern Expedition Update

In the recent Northern Expedition update, developers introduced the Summit Rod in Fisch, boasting a high max kg stat and other decent stats. If you’re looking to acquire this end game rod in the new Frigin Cavern location, here’s how to find it.

Location of the Fisch Summit Rod

To acquire the Summit rod in Fisch from Frigin Cavern, head to the Northern Expedition located in the Ocean. Keep an eye out for it while sailing on your boat. Move towards the left side of the island, jump onto the glaciers, and navigate your way up using ladders. Continue upwards until you reach the Overgrowth Caves location.

The Temperature mechanism plays a crucial role in this journey. The blue bar indicates your Oxygen level while the orange bar represents Temperature/Heat. To replenish heat, stand near a campfire in the vicinity. Ensure to purchase the Beginner Oxygen Tank (available for 3,500C$ at the Overgrowth Caves) and proceed without breaks to reach your destination.

Follow the route marked by ladders (a lengthy path) until you encounter a cluster of orange tents. Refill your Oxygen, increase your heat, and purchase the Summit Rod in Fisch for 300,000C$. You can find the rod near the red Intermediate Oxygen Tank.

Although it comes at a high price, the Summit rod is a viable alternative to the Rod of the Depths, which costs 750,000C$ and requires completion of a quest. Enhance your Summit rod by enchanting it with Resilient, Quality, Abyssal, or Swift/Hasty.

Additionally, this location also offers the Heavens Rod, but it involves a lengthy process before you can purchase it. To ease your travel in the region, invest in the Advanced Oxygen tank for 25,000C$ at the Glacial Grotto. This tank allows you to refill Oxygen, extending your exploration time.

If you haven’t yet accumulated 25,000C$, opt for the Intermediate Oxygen Tank (available for 10,000C$ at the Frigid Cavern). Consider purchasing the Winter Cloak for 7,500C$ to stay warm. The Winter Cloak can be found at coordinates X: 20173, Y: 335, Z: 5724.
