Hardware and Variants
While the pre-orders are currently limited to the Windows-based version of the Legion Go S, a variant running on SteamOS will also be available at launch. Lenovo has also confirmed that additional configurations of the handheld will hit the shelves in May.
Performance and Design
Visually, the Legion Go S bears a striking resemblance to the Asus ROG Ally, featuring curved hand grips and offset thumbsticks. However, when it comes to hardware, the Legion Go S takes the lead with an AMD Ryzen Z2 CPU, double the RAM and storage capacity of the original ROG Ally, and an 8-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200.
SteamOS Integration
One of the standout features of the Legion Go S is its integration of SteamOS, promising a more streamlined and user-friendly gaming experience compared to other Windows-based handheld devices.
