Netflix’s Animated Witcher Movie Sirens of the Deep Gets Release Date
Sirens of the Deep, Netflix’s latest animated The Witcher movie – featuring Doug Cockle reprising his role as Geralt of Rivia – will start streaming on 11th February.
Storyline and Characters
Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice, Sirens of the Deep follows Geralt as he investigates attacks in a seaside village and gets entangled in a conflict between humans and merpeople. Netflix teases, “He must count on friends — old and new – to solve the mystery before hostilities escalate into all-out war.”
Geralt will be accompanied by Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey, reprising their roles as Yennefer and Jaskier. The movie is directed by Kang Hei Chul, who also directed Netflix’s Nightmare of the Wolf in 2021.
What’s Next for The Witcher
Season four of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of The Witcher is up next, with Liam Hemsworth taking over as Geralt of Rivia. Doug Cockle will return in CD Projekt’s upcoming Witcher game, although not as the protagonist.
