In the world of Fisch, players can discover Animal Pools, a temporary feature that allows them to catch exclusive fish-animal hybrids like the Lionfish, Salmoose, Zebrafishlet, and the Kittyfish. This feature was introduced with the April Fools update and will be available until April 19th, 2025. These prime fishing spots offer valuable catches. Understanding Animal Pools
Animal Pools are unique fishing areas that randomly emerge across the game map during designated event periods. Distinct from regular fishing spots, these pools feature limited-time hybrid creatures not available anywhere else. They are activated every 30 minutes of server uptime, remaining accessible for only 5 minutes, so timing is crucial. There are two varieties of Animal Pools in Fisch: a standard pool and an Octophant hunt pool. You can find the standard pool in both the First Sea and the Second Sea.
Finding and Activating Animal Pools in Fisch
Pay Attention to Server Alerts
When an Animal Pool spawns, a notification appears in the server-wide chat. This message will often indicate the general area where the pool has been created. In the First Sea, key locations for these pools tend to be the Ancient Isle and Roslit Bay, so set your spawn point nearby and take your fastest boat to reach the island. Ensure your Fish radar is active. In the Second Sea, the pool can appear near Lushgrove.
Spot the Orange Beam
Each Animal Pool can be recognized by a tall, vibrant orange beam of light that is visible from a distance. This feature helps players locate the pool once they are in the vicinity.
Be Quick
The pools are only available for 5 minutes, so you’ll need to stop whatever you’re doing and head to the location urgently.
Utilize Totems
Players can activate events using the Sundial and Smokescreen totems, which are effective for the Animal Pool in Fisch as well.
Fishing at the Animal Pool
- Equip your fishing rod and start fishing in the waters like you would at any normal fishing location.
- Animal Pools increase the likelihood of catching rare hybrid fish exclusive to this event. It is advisable to use a rod with high lure speed alongside appropriate bait that enhances this speed, enabling you to reel in numerous fish within a brief duration.
- These fish can be sold for in-game currency. If you opt for a higher-tier rod with luck, you will have a better chance of catching the rarer hybrids.
