In the pursuit of locating the mysterious Wada Koretake, Yaya dispatches Naoe to track down his chief executioner in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Pinpointing his whereabouts can be quite challenging, so we’ve put together a concise guide to help navigate to his location effectively.
Locating the Executioner in AC Shadows

- Begin by tracking the mission in the Objectives tab, then switch to the World map and look for the Amagasaki area.
- If this location is already revealed to you, zoom in to identify Nanatsumatsu, which lies west of Amagasaki and east of Nishinomiya Shrine/Shrine Town. This spot is where the executioner can be found, albeit with some guards present.

- If you haven’t yet discovered this area, a transparent blue circle will appear on the map as you approach. You will receive a Discovery notification for Nanatsumatsu when you get near.
- Proceed towards the prisoners by taking down the guards en route. Exercise caution, as the primary guards will kill the prisoners if they spot you. To facilitate your quest, unlock the fast travel point at Amagasaki Castle for a quicker path to this location should you fall in combat.
- When you’re ready to engage, rush towards the Executioner located among the prisoners and commence your assault. Other guards will likely join the fray, so be prepared to handle them simultaneously. Alternatively, you can opt for stealth, eliminating the other guards before facing the Executioner alone.
- On the right side of the screen, a letter will appear post-battle. After defeating the executioner, Naoe uncovers a letter detailing Wada Koretake’s hideout, hinting that he is at Amagasaki Castle, specifically in the courtyard.
