Home plots in Heartopia decide how much space you actually get to build on. The whole loop is crafting and placing stuff around your place, so plots are a big deal — and because of that, they’re a bit scarce early on.
You start with two plots. As you add more, you can push out rooms, carve out bigger crop fields, and generally make the homestead you’re imagining. You’ll need the right materials (some you can snag from redeeming Heartopia codes), and you’ll need more plots. Here’s how to unlock them.
How to unlock more home plots in Heartopia
To expand your building area in Heartopia, you first unlock additional plots, then pay some gold to activate and use each one.
The only way to unlock new home plots is tied to your D.G. Member level. Completing daily requests earns Contribution Medals, which you spend to rank up via the D.G. Member’s Guild app in the Watch menu.
There’s a cap on daily requests, so expect to spread this over several days. Once you have enough medals to rank up, open the D.G. Member’s Guild app and press the Unlock button in the bottom-right to claim your level rewards.
Early D.G. Member levels that award extra home plots:
- Level 4: unlocks two home plots
- Level 6: unlocks one home plot
- Level 8: unlocks one home plot
- Level 11: unlocks one home plot
To actually enable a newly earned plot and start building on it, open the D.G. Member’s Guild app from the Watch menu and tap the four-square icon in the top-right to open the Plot Management screen. On Windows PC, you can jump there by pressing E.
Plot Management shows how many housing plots you’ve unlocked, their sizes, what types of items can be placed on each, and any requirements. If a plot is ready to go, its lock icon will wiggle — click it and pay the gold fee to activate the space. The first plot costs 100 gold; the next jumps to 4,000.
