ESPAT Signs Media Rights Deal With MAD Lions – The Esports Observer

Spanish esports organization MAD Lions has signed a digital media rights deal with media company ESPAT to make multimedia assets from competitions and other activities available on the media licensing platform.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This latest partnership follows similar media rights deals with Hong Kong-based esports organization Talon Esports and Spanish esports organization Team Queso.

Founded in 2017, MAD Lions competes in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. The organization was acquired by Canadian firm Overactive Media in 2019. Its main LEC roster was formerly known as Splyce before being rebranded.

In June, MAD Lions signed a partnership deal with Spanish finance management service provider imagin, with a focus on its League of Legends Superliga Orange competition.
