Seasoned Sports Industry Veteran Ian K. Partilla Joins Dignitas – The Esports Observer

Ian K. Partilla has left Alem International Management to join North American esports organization Dignitas as its new senior vice president of partnership sales and activation. 

Prior to joining Dignitas, Partilla worked as the executive vice president of global sports event management company Alem International Management for more than a year, and served as head of global revenue for more than a year and a half at sports sponsorships analytics company GumGum. 

Partilla spent more than two years at NBC Sports Group as the vice president of sports strategy & sponsorships, more than two years at NBC Sports Group division Alli Sports as vice president of partnerships, and more than 14 years at ESPN working within the X Games & Disney ESPN Media Networks in several roles. He also spent two years at Fox Network Groups as a coordinator in its national accounts affiliate marketing department.

Owned by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Dignitas operates teams in various esports including the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, Rocket League, Clash Royale, and Super Smash Bros. It also operates an all-women roster focused on playing first- and third-person shooters and battle royale games called DIG.FE.

Earlier this week, Dignitas announced a rebrand and the launch of a new branded debit card with digital banking platform Zytara.
