Halloween may be in the rearview mirror for many of us, but that is not the case for the good old virtual folks over in The Sims 4. With the arrival of The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack this coming January 26, you can live it up with another world altogether. If the otherworldly stuff intrigues you, then you are most definitely in for a treat come the end of the month.
With the newly added content, you will have more options to play with your Sims. Build haunted houses, conduct seances to commune with the dead, or even start a new career as a paranormal investigator. The latter definitely sounds like a feasible career path if television is to be believed. Based on the trailer itself, there are plenty of spirits just waiting for you to get into contact with. They are not just the humanoid forms we are most familiar with either. And yes, there are creepy dolls involved.
If you are keen on pursuing that particular career, be sure to hone your Medium skill. The better you are at it, the more you can help those who are affected by the dead.
One cannot help but think that The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack would have been perfect back in October, but it is better late than never.
The new pack will add new characters, including a helpful guide named Claude. Bonehilda the maid might help you with your chores, and there are others you can meet as well. Players can look forward to kitting out their haunted houses with new furniture pieces with matching designs. Your personal dress sense will also see some changes, with more options to choose from.
EA has not put a price just yet on The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack. However, previous packs cost $10 USD usually, so that would be a safe bet. If you are looking to spice things up for your virtual family, a good scare just might do the trick.
