Panda Global Recruits Two Industry Veterans to Social Media Team – The Esports Observer

Esports organization Panda Global continues its streak of noteworthy hires by bringing two industry leaders to its social media team – Chris Okamura and Tina Sang.

Okamura is a nine year industry veteran who has previously worked at CSL Esports, Activision Blizzard, Riot Games, and more. He recently served as the social media manager for Flyquest, and worked on social media content for OpTic Gaming, 100 Thieves, and Twitch among others through a freelance firm. In particular, Okamura’s experience working with Major League Gaming and the Evolution Championship Series will serve him at Panda – a fighting game-focused organization.

Sang previously worked with G2 Esports and T1 Sports & Entertainment, developing strategies to grow the audience for both foreign teams in North America. She oversaw T1’s English-speaking social media team.

The pair will leverage their experience in the industry to grow Panda Global’s social media presence across all platforms.
