This little challenge to defeat three slimes in the archipelago is part of the Traveler’s Picture Book web event. You can access the event by selecting Special Events in the game menu. To fill out the picture book, you’ll need to make your way through a series of tasks on different days.

This slime hunt is part of the day six tasks, but the game won’t help you out at all when it comes to finding some slimes. If you’re having some trouble, here’s where you should be looking.

You’ll be able to find a group of Anemo slimes right next to the southernmost fast travel point on the Golden Apple Archipelago. The slimes are easy to take down, as usual. The real trouble is finding them in this string of islands.

Once you’ve found and disposed of three slimes, return to the Traveler’s Picture Book to claim your reward. You’ll receive bottles of colored paint that you can use to fill in the picture book little by little. Simply press Paint at the bottom of the screen to auto-fill the empty squares and receive more rewards.
