How to Get to Monastery Barracks (Tools for Trade Quest)

Diablo 2: Resurrected is here and players are able to relive the glory days of Diablo 2 either on PC once again, or on their modern home console of choice. The game looks fantastic but it’s not any less harsh. If you’re here, you’re probably stuck in Act 1’s quest, Tools for Trade, and are wondering how to get to the Monastery Barracks in Diablo 2. Here’s the path you’ll need to take to get there.

How to Get to Monastery Barracks in Diablo 2

Act 1 – Tools for Trade Quest

Once you’ve started the quest, head on over to the Black Marsh (using a waypoint to get there quickly). In the Black Marsh fight your way through enemies as you search around until you’re able to enter the Tamoe Highlands.

Once you’re in the Tamoe Highlands, it’s the same deal. Fight through hordes of enemies until you stumble across a large building that in of itself is its own zone, The Monastery Gate.

Continue through the straight path until you’re able to exit outside to the Outer Cloister. You’re almost there.

Continue wandering around the Outer Cloister and, eventually, you’ll finally stumble across the Monastery Barracks, you’ll know you’re there because it’s a darker indoor area as opposed to the outdoor area you’re in now.

The Monastery Barracks is a large area densely packed with enemies, but you’re at least done with the wandering around aimlessly outside. Fight you’re way through and you’ll get where you need to go to progress the Tools for Trade quest in Act 1.

That’s all you need to know for how to get to the Monastery Barracks in Diablo 2 during Act 1’s Tools for Trade quest. For more Diablo 2: Resurrected check out some of our most recent guides and articles down below.
