From the main menu, you’ll need to go to the boat on the river. This will take you up to Mt. Minigame where you can access every minigame in Mario Party Superstars. The first mode that you’ll see up there is Free Play. Check out the list below to see what modes are available and what they entail.

  • Free Play
    In this mode, you can select any type of minigame. All games are available from the beginning, no unlocking is necessary.
  • Tag Match
    In this mode, you can only play 2v2 minigames.
  • Trio Challenge
    This mode also limits what minigames you can choose. This time, only 1v3 games are available.
  • Sports and Puzzles
    As the name implies, only sports- and puzzle-themed minigames are available in this mode. This is where you can try to go for high scores.
  • Survival
    This is the main online mode at Mt. Minigame. You’ll run a gauntlet of minigames against other players online to see how many you can win in a row.
  • Daily Challenge
    This mode offers you three sets of minigames to try out. Each set containts three games that fit within a certain theme.
  • Coin Battle
    If you like the minigames where collecting Coins is the main objective, then you’ll love this mode.
