LDN UTD partners with the Mayor of London and Cudos for All Access Gaming event at Samsung KX featuring Chelcee Grimes, the Vamps’ Connor Ball and other influencers to promote health and wellbeing

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has again teamed up with London-based social action esports organisation, LDN UTD, to promote health and wellbeing at a free gaming event in London.

All Access Gaming will take place at the Samsung KX experience space at King’s Cross, London on Saturday November 13th 2021 from 4pm to 8pm GMT, and will be streamed live on LDN UTD’s Twitch channel.

LDN UTD has also partnered with cloud monetisation application provider Cudos for the event.

All Access Gaming will be hosted by Chelcee Grimes and Elle Osili-Wood, with creators including ItsHaber, Itani, Maria AKA. Ria Bish, Sunpi, Haber, Jords and pop star Connor Ball from The Vamps getting involved, as well as LDN UTD creators including Merl and Gillytho.

Talent will go head to head in a FIFA 22 and F1 challenge and compete to showcase who is the best. The FIFA players will hit the track and the F1 racers will take to the pitch in order to shake things up.

Talent interviews will also occur throughout the event on the subject of their health and wellbeing, and a panel discussion will conclude the show, allowing the audience at Samsung KX and the Twitch chat to ask top UK creators about their journeys.

Twitch viewers will be able to interact and win prizes courtesy of Green Man Gaming and Noble Chairs and Cudos, while all gaming sessions will showcase the Samsung CRG9 Dual-QHD Curved Monitor.

A Cudos bundle consisting of £100 in gaming vouchers, a controller signed by Connor Ball and an Xbox gaming console will be up for grabs.

The Cudos app allows users to monetise their spare compute power by upcycling it, apparently helping to make computing cheaper, more sustainable and more accessible.

Connor Ball commented: “It is fantastic to be involved in LDN UTD’s event that is combining health and wellbeing with my passion for gaming. I’m excited to attend Samsung KX and showcase my skills, as well as talk about my personal journey.”

CEO of LDN UTD, Oliver Weingarten, said: “This event will showcase both the beneficial aspects of mental and physical activity in esports, and the role tech can play in supporting this.

“I can think of no better partners than the Mayor of London, Samsung KX and the inspirational talent who’ll be attending, to help us get this crucial message out.

“And bringing Cudos into the LDN UTD family, starting with All Access Gaming, is an endorsement for the approach we are taking as a tech led purpose driven esports org. The LDN UTD NFT campaign launch received a fantastic response and we look forward to building out our roadmap with the support of the Cudos infrastructure and team.”

Pete Hill, VP of sales for Cudos, added: “The combination of gamification and blockchain play2earn will create new communities of web3 adoption. Furthermore, they share a similar ethos of using tech for good, with a portion of their platform revenues going to the Rio Ferdinand Foundation to support youth and community development in the heart of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.”

Ashrita Seshadri, head of marketing at Samsung KX, commented: “As a hub for innovation, we showcase how to use technology as a force for good and we’re proud to bring together a gaming community of like-minded people to showcase and educate the benefits of health and wellbeing within esports.”

Attendees can book tickets for the LDN UTD event on the Samsung KX website.
