UK Call of Duty League franchise the London Royal Ravens have this evening announced their new player roster for 2022.
The line-up includes returning players Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris and Byron ‘Nastie’ Plumridge, as well as a newcomer to the Ravens, Joey ‘Gismo’ Owen, and existing player Marcus ‘Afro’ Reid, who extended his contract with the Ravens back in September.
James ‘Dominate’ Batz remains as coach, and Michael ‘Odee’ O’Dell as managing director of the team. Odee is also chief gaming officer at Ravens parent company ReKTGlobal, a position he took back in 2019.
The Royal Ravens made the new CoD roster announcement in a reveal video just now.
The Ravens will be hoping for improvement in 2022, following a tough year in 2021 where they finished tenth in the regular CoD League season, ahead of LA Guerrillas and Paris Legion.
ReKTGlobal also owns several other properties in esports, including team organisation Rogue, which competes in the League of Legends LEC as well as other games.
The Royal Ravens has other co-owners like influencer Vikkstar, who recently invested in UK-based business VibePay, as well as streamers like Jukeyz and Angelika.
This news is breaking – quotes and more to follow. We’ll update this article further this evening and hope to secure an interview with the Ravens soon.
