Augmented truth (AR) is seeing higher release for at-home usage, at an business level and for out-of-home home entertainment. When it pertains to the latter, the UK’s Legoland Windsor Resort has actually revealed its newest tourist attraction, The Magical Forest, which uses Zappar’s AR innovation for a self-guided walk-through experience.
The Magical Forest is an immersive experience for households that build upon the Lego Mythica location of the resort. As visitors roam through the forest they’ll have the ability to utilize the Legoland app to scan QR codes at AR activation points, bringing all the Lego animals to life.
This AR experience is told by BOBs, the infant alicorn, brought to life and changed from Lego to his real-life type. BOBs will direct households through The Magical Forest whilst presenting animals such as Crystal Claw Crabs, Baby Lava Dragons, Venus Fly Traps and the Lava Dragon herself. To increase the interactive components, the AR experience will motivate kids to assist BOBs discover their missing wing, take an image with the Lava Dragon and unique virtual cards to gather with statistics on each animal.
