To help promote the global launch of the revamped PS Plus subscription service, which features additional games from across every PlayStation console generation, Sony is tugging on the heartstrings of long-term fans with a new commercial. In the new PS Plus trailer, a live-action video entitled “Mr. Malcolm,” a man explores his basement filled with PlayStation memorabilia, of which there are over a dozen Easter eggs, tied to games like Bloodborne and Uncharted, which fans can try to spot.

In the PS Blog post accompanying the new trailer, Sony mentions how the new PlayStation Plus service has completed its final rollout with support for Europe, the Middle East, India, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Giving some behind-the-scenes information on the Mr. Malcolm advert, Sony reveals that the video took 35 days of video prep, with the shoot taking six days in six different locations with 94 crew members and 68 actors.
Dotted throughout the new PS Plus trailer are more than 1,270 props, which included 80 trophies and 120 clocks, as well as “more than a dozen Easter eggs.”
In other PlayStation news, the Alien: Isolation developer’s sci-fi FPS is called Hyenas. The list of games for European PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers has been revealed. Gotham Knights features the “biggest version of Gotham” in games.
