While she was still with the bandits, the oldest of them challenged Rosaria in a duel in Genshin Impact. It was punishment for trying to flee because of hunger and the cold. He was also the one who picked her up all those years ago.
It was a duel to the death, one that Rosaria handily won. The group lost an old member but also gained a new one. They were initially reluctant until they saw the Vision glowing in her hand. Surely a Vision-wielder is better than an aging veteran? Plus, she won’t take as much food as an older man.
Rosaria, in contrast, just wondered if the old bandit lost on purpose. She thinks it could be partly due to affection, but could someone have that with a child they stole on a whim?
In the current working theory, Cryo Vision holders receive them when they’ve solidified their resolve. Rosaria’s decision could stem from accepting her darkness as part of the bandit crew she was in. Getting saved by the Knights of Favonius didn’t change that, nor did the Church. She was and still is a child of moonlight and the night. She’ll get her hands dirty in the dark so those in the light can live freely. That is her freedom and promise.
That’s all for this unconventional nun of the Church of Favonius. She may be a little prickly, but you can trust that she has Mond’s best interests at heart. Plus, she can back up her sharp words with her spear, so you’d better not get on her bad side.
Enjoy Genshin Impact, and remember to have fun!
