The Shooting Gallery makes a big return in the Resident Evil 4 remake. And while the original game’s version only offered money as a reward, this time around, you get more unique prizes. But before you can do any of that, you’ll first need to reach a certain point in the game. So, here’s how you can unlock the Shooting Gallery in the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Resident Evil 4 remake: When can you get to the Shooting Gallery
There aren’t any special requirements needed to enter the Shooting Gallery. Instead, you just have to progress to certain parts of the game. The first Shooting Gallery is available in Chapter 3 in the Merchant’s hideout near the lake. The second Shooting Gallery is found in Chapter 9 at the Merchant’s hideout in the Grand Hall. Then the third is found in Chapter 11 after the Castle Dungeon. And finally, the fourth is found at the start of Chapter 14.
Resident Evil 4‘s Shooting Gallery is accessed via an elevator that’s usually very close to the Merchant’s stall. All you need to do is ride the elevator, and you’ll be brought to the range. At the start, there will only be three challenges available to take on. But you’ll likely spend a lot of time here since each challenge has a few sub-objectives to clear. As you find other Shooting Galleries, three more challenges get added each time. And eventually, they’ll be pretty tough to conquer.
What rewards does the Shooting Gallery offer
Every time you finish a challenge at Resident Evil 4‘s Shooting Range, you’ll get either silver or gold tokens. Silver tokens are rewards for reaching lower scores, while gold tokens are reserved for high scores and shooting every skull medal. Once you’ve got at least three tokens of silver, gold, or a bit of both, you can spend them at the machine near the elevator. And this is how you unlock charms which give you some handy abilities to make Resident Evil 4 a little easier.
The Shooting Gallery in the Resident Evil 4 remake is absolutely worth doing as you come across them. But don’t worry about nailing every challenge you see. Once you progress far enough into the game, the Merchant starts offering gold tokens for three Spinels. So you can always use those to try and get some good charms.
