‘Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel’ Shutting Down in September on iOS and Android – TouchArcade

Following its launch in September 2022, Konami just announced that the mobile-only Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel (Free) will be shutting down. Konami originally announced it as a part of three different new Yu-Gi-Oh! games including the massively popular Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel service will end on September 4th, 2023 at 05:00 UTC which would be just short of a year after it launched on September 6th, 2022. All sales of the in app purchases (Crystals) have stopped as of today’s announcement. Watch a trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel below:

Cross Duel features four players connected to each other to form a cross and it includes three modes (four player versus, co-op, and singleplayer), characters from across the anime series, 3D monsters, autobuild options, and more. With service ending, Konami announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel will see increased rewards like gifts and login bonuses leading into it shutting down. If you’d like to play Yu-Gi-Oh!
