Stylish puzzler Escape Academy has new DLC on the horizon

Escape room enthusiasts have a new reason to rejoice with the upcoming launch of Escape Academy’s latest DLC, “Escape from the Past.” Coin Crew Games, developers of the popular indie puzzler, is set to introduce five new levels to the game starting June 19, 2021. With an Old-School “whodunnit” mystery storyline, the DLC promises to keep players on the edge of their seats and their minds ticking.

The developers have revealed that the new story-focused adventure will be included in Escape Academy’s season pass, or players can opt to purchase it separately. Interested players can acquire the season pass for £11.39 / $14.99. Meanwhile, the DLC will retail for £8.50 / $9.99.

Unraveling a Clandestine Plot

Escape Academy’s “Escape from the Past” takes players on a mission to solve a clandestine plot to murder the academy’s headmaster. Throughout the game’s five new levels, players work together with other students to piece together clues and unravel the storyline’s mysterious plot. Charming visual novel segments help provide context and cohesion, making it a memorable experience.

Nintendo Switch Edition Coming Soon

Coin Crew Games has also announced that Escape Academy will soon be available on Nintendo Switch, with a slated release toward the end of 2023. Players can purchase the Nintendo Switch edition from the eShop for $29.99, which includes all existing DLC, including “Escape from the Past.”
