Discover Hyrule’s stables in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, through various side quests. The Gerudo Canyon Stable is no exception. Here’s our guide for clearing Gerudo Canyon Stable in the game.

Clearing Gerudo Canyon Stable Well in Tears of the Kingdom

Upon arriving at Gerudo Canyon Stable, you’ll note the absence of most individuals, with the owner hiding behind the counter in the store. However, you’ll encounter Penn in the area, who tells you that Zelda ordered the sealing of the well, and he’s curious about what’s inside. Speaking to him triggers a side quest called The Blocked Well.

To complete this side quest, unblock the well and clear it of enemies. After dropping down, you’ll immediately hit an impasse, but removing weak rocks using your preferred method, such as a fused Arrow and Bomb Flower, will expose a new chamber with enemies.

Expect aggressive enemies in this area. Upon entrance, you’ll be greeted by several types of Lizalfos. If you’re careful, you can take down some with headshots using a bow before they spot you.

Next to the stone column where the lizards wander, you’ll see a Like Like enemy. Ignore it and ascend the ledge beyond. You’ll encounter an Electric Lizalfos as you climb to the high chamber. It’s deadly, and close contact can deplete your health fast and potentially cause you to drop any equipped metal gear. It’s best to attack from a distance, preferably headshots with your trusty bow. If you have electrical-resistant armor available, it’s highly recommended to wear it.

When the final Lizalfos is defeated, it’s time to tackle the Like Like. You’ll be summoned back to the surface by Penn once you’ve cleared out all the enemies in the well. Based on how many stable-related stories you have investigated to aid the Potential Princess Sightings! questline, he’ll reward you. That concludes The Blocked Well.
